Adjusting Sleeves offset
The offset is the distance between the most coronal part of the implant and the most apical part of the sleeve. The software will automatically suggest the offset that is compatible with the surgical drill system. If you want to change the drill length for any reason, you can adjust your offset for keyed surgical kits. You will find the length of the key calculated in the total drill length, and it will appear under the name of the tool. If the offset matches the length at which you can place the implant and the inner diameter of the sleeve is bigger than the outer diameter of the implant IPC notice -which stands for Implant Placement Control -will appear. The sleeve is initially placed at IPC level automatically. If a free hand drilling message appears that means that the longest drill in this surgical kit will not reach the full length through this guide.
You can also change the offset using the keyboard arrows.
